Welcome to the online resources for Count Me In! – a fully inclusive set of materials for making music with groups of children, young people and adults, whatever their abilities and needs. There are 12 pieces of music, each with a backing track and audio files that will enable everyone to join in, including those with moderate, severe or profound learning difficulties, learners with sensory or physical impairments, children and young people who are on the autism spectrum and those functioning ‘neurotypically’ too. The materials are suitable for pupils and students attending special or mainstream schools or colleges, or for those participating in community performing arts groups. Whatever the setting, it is important for teachers, therapists, carers, parents and helpers to join in sessions too: everyone is musical.
